“The aim of the research carried out in this “article” is to construct the psychological and social profile of the welfare assistant in the region of his personal perspectives on various social problems. Such profession very often deals with the social aspects which are based on laws and decrees that define the particular phenomenon and the approach of its solution based on procedures as well. What is more, the way of solving problems is not always in agreement with the welfare assistant's world view - it is conflicting in terms of his values and some personal rules. There is no chance to express his beliefs freely in his professional sphere. That is the main reason why the author used informal statements of the social service workers as the research tool. It was possible to carry it out due to the observations of one of the social networks where they gave answers to the most sneaking questions.

Only statements in form of quotations will be used in the thesis.

Znam parę osób pracujących w zawodzie pracownika socjalnego. Jednak angielski nie jest ich najmocniejszą stroną. Nawet ci młodzi to jakoś tak nieszczególnie znają.
